Consumer Spectroscopy

My SPIE paper (given at the DCS Meeting in Baltimore) has just been published at:

It talks about some of the products and prototypes, containing photonic or spectroscopic components, recently introduced by major consumer good companies: BASF/Trinamix, Henkel, Procter & Gamble, Whirlpool, etc.

As part of ‘smart homes’, will there soon be spectrometers everywhere around us?
