The Coblentz Society has a large schedule of activities at the SCiX meeting in Reno (the week of October 9th). Apart from the Governing Board and Annual Members Meetings, the Society is sponsoring the Student Poster Session awards, the Lippincott Award and Symposium, the Craver Award and Symposium, and a 'speed mentoring' luncheon. Many thanks to all the Coblentz volunteers for their efforts, including Ian Lewis, Karen Esmonde-White, Jim Rydzak, Mark Druy, Mary Carrabba and Brandye Smith-Goettler. I've enjoyed helping the Society over the past seven or eight years, as Secretary and elected board member, and now, at the SCiX meeting, I formally rotate off the Board. Good luck to the Society and all its volunteers in the future!
